Day 01 Departure from Nagercoil to Chennai
Begin your journey early in the morning from Nagercoil, traveling to Chennai by bus or train, which is approximately 700 km away. The journey may take around 10 to 12 hours. Upon arrival in Chennai, check into your hotel and relax after the long trip. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore local attractions or enjoy a traditional Tamil dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 Chennai to Thiruthani and Kumbakonam
After breakfast, depart for Thiruthani, located about 90 km from Chennai. Visit the Thiruthani Murugan Temple, one of the six Arupadai Veedu temples, known for its beautiful architecture and spiritual significance. After exploring Thiruthani, continue your journey to Kumbakonam, approximately 130 km away. Check into your hotel upon arrival and visit the Swamimalai Murugan Temple, another important site dedicated to Lord Murugan. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kumbakonam.
Day 03 Kumbakonam to Tiruchendur
After breakfast, you will head towards Tiruchendur, which is around 150 km from Kumbakonam. Upon arrival, visit the Tiruchendur Murugan Temple, located near the shores of the Arabian Sea. This temple is unique as it is one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Murugan that is situated by the sea. Spend time exploring the temple and its surroundings before checking into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04 Tiruchendur to Madurai
Following breakfast, depart for Madurai, which is approximately 110 km from Tiruchendur. Upon arrival, visit the famous Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, known for its rock-cut architecture and significant historical background. After exploring this sacred site, check into your hotel in Madurai and relax for the evening. You may also choose to visit the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple if time permits. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 Madurai to Palani
After breakfast, travel to Palani, located about 100 km from Madurai. Visit the renowned Palani Murugan Temple, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for devotees of Lord Murugan. The temple is situated on a hill and can be reached by climbing steps or using a cable car. After spending time at this sacred site, check into your hotel in Palani for an overnight stay.
Day 06 Palani to Coimbatore
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before departing for Coimbatore, which is approximately 110 km away from Palani. Upon arrival, you can visit any remaining attractions or enjoy some leisure time in Coimbatore before concluding your tour. Depending on your travel plans, you may choose to return to Nagercoil or continue on to your next destination.
